We at The Soulfuls are thrilled to expand our team and are searching for a highly organised and creative Project Lead to support us in this exciting journey. This role offers the opportunity to be at the heart of a dynamic project as it continues to grow. As an integral part of our small, dedicated team, you will manage all aspects of the 3-year rollout of this exceptional program for young women.

Thanks to substantial backing from Turborgfondet, we can offer a 3-year contract with a start February 2024.

About The Mentorship Program
Our Mentorship program is designed for young women of colour, aimed at providing visibility, opportunity, and independence through a unique 6-month initiative. The Soulfuls Mentorship Program is dedicated to breaking down barriers for young women of colour looking to enter the creative industries. We are currently concluding our second program and gearing up to launch our 2024 edition.

ABOUT THE ROLE 

As the Communication and Social Media Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of The Soulfuls communication strategy across all our platforms. The role involves being responsible to the CEO and Founder for:

Planning and management of The Soulfuls communication channels 

  • Participate in the development of a strategy to reach The Soulfuls’ target group through various communication channels

  • Responsible for updating social media and other external platforms to ensure consistent communication

  • Responsibility for the planning and creation of the The Soulfuls newsletter 

  • Create content for Instagram and Linkedin

  • Keep the website updated with current activities, information and news

  • Ensure that the website is user-friendly and contains relevant content

PR management:

  • Respond to inquiries from media and stakeholders

  • Preparation and distribution of press releases

ABOUT YOU

In addition to a passion for expanding opportunities for young women in their early careers, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • Students currently studying on a relevant educational course e.g. communication, marketing or the like. It can be at bachelors, masters or professional level

  • Strong interest in communication, PR or marketing

  • Good writing skills and the ability to convey messages clearly

  • Basic understanding of digital marketing tools and social media

  • Ability to work independently, thrives in a fast paced environment and has strong decision-making skills.
