CBS x The Soulfuls: What's it Really Like Working in the Fashion Industry?
On december 6th, The Soulfuls was invited to Copenhagen Business School to speak about how to navigate in the fashion industry in Denmark right after finishing university and what does it mean working in fashion in 2024!
We couldn’t have said it better than what Josefine Cramer (Director of Partnerships & Special Projects at Copenhagen Fashion Week) summed it up on her Linkedin profile: “We talked a lot about the importance of being humble and curious, not being afraid of showing your personality, putting in the extra work, the power of networking, and applying business skills in the fashion industry”.
Connections are currency in the creative industries and it takes a hard working and determine soul to step up the laders in fashion. That being said, we at The Soulfuls do acknowledge the barriers women face as well as women of colour / POC do face, that need to be addressed and challenged!
We did also talk about AI, future of tech in fashion and beyond … and we of course invited the room to apply to our two amazing mentorship programs Dreamrs&Doers ( for WOC) and Power&Potential (for ALL women)!
We were thrilled to be welcomed by a fully packed room, young students joined the talk with our CEO and Founder Aram Ostadian-Binai as moderator and speaker, together with:
Lene Borggaard (Freelance creative director, who has previously held the roles of CEO for Bruuns Bazaar and GAI+LISVA)
Josefine CramerJosefine Cramer (Director of Partnerships & Special Projects at Copenhagen Fashion Week)
Demetria Parisi (Senior ERP specialist at GANNI)
Manisha Shrestha ( Founder of Dimaicha, a brand focused on sustainability and female empowerment)
