Maria Black is a fashion-forward brand inviting individuals to explore and embrace their individuality creatively through jewellery. You’re the critical connection between what we want to say, and what our community wants and needs to hear all the way from our aesthetics to commercial tactics.

Our new colleague comes with a holistic mindset that spans from being highly creative to understanding the connection between content and commerce. The role is in the marketing-team, but working closely with e-commerce, retail, wholesale and operations to ensure an aligned brand experience across all touchpoints and around the globe.

What you will do: With reference to our CMO, your overall success criterion is to help to improve our brand, by creating campaigns, content, and concepts to support our brand, sales, and community through:

  • Own and develop our tone-of-voice based on the existing brand and strategy.

  • Continuously re-write existing texts to fit the newly developed TOV. All the way from our core brand DNA to the Instagram story of tomorrow afternoon.

  • Champion our approach to all things text and make it a valuable brand asset.

  • Develop and execute creative campaigns as well as new editorial formats, alongside our existing creative team.

  • Create content ideas across platforms, based on the strategy and produce it.

  • Work closely with PR, e-commerce, wholesale, retail, and brand team to ensure alignment and superior quality in copy and creative output

  • Write a lot of copy – headlines, ads, social posts, product texts, web copy, and whatever you figure out is needed.

What you will bring:

  • A portfolio of creative skills – writing is important, but we are looking for great creative profiles.

  • Understanding of the usage of creatives and specially writing across various channels.

  • Ability to turn strategy into creative output.

  • A self-driven independent as well as team-worker, with an eye for project management.

  • Yourself – We encourage everyone to express themselves, so we want a person, not a machine.

  • Exceptional and creative written English. Several languages can be a plus.
