We are so honoured and excited to host such inspirational power women at Kulturhuset Islands Brygge on the 11th of August.

We have asked our speakers some soulful questions in preparation for their talks at our Style Beauty and Empowerment event.

Fie Sommer

Inspiring life-coach and TV personality on ‘De Perfekte Piger’.

Q: How would you describe yourself?

I am a girl who deeply cares about this world and who wants to spread as much self-love as possible.

I am on a mission to inspire everyone to shine and love themselves as they are.

You might have seen me on 'De Perfekte Piger' on DR3, where I let go of many limiting beliefs governing how I should be or look like.

This journey has continued after the show finished and I have continued to share my learned wisdom through workshops and coaching sessions.

Q: Who inspires you?

I get inspired by people who dare to speak and live their truth, even though it might not be easy.

To me, that is so brave and inspiring.

Q: What makes you feel confident?

It makes me feel confident when I am fully myself, no matter how my surroundings change.

Q: what is your superpower?

My super power is that I am the only one who is me.

Q: What is the best piece of advice a woman has given you?

The best piece of advice that a very wise and beautiful woman once told me was to trust my path.

Everything that life throws at me and every step along my journey is required in order for me to reach my full potential in life.

Jasmin SØE

Model, Author, Life-coach, TV host with plenty of inspiration and soul.

Q: How would you describe yourself?

I am a girl who is a dreamer. I dream to create. I am a curious girl; a girl who is curious about life and love.

I value self-belief and not letting others' negative opinions drain my positive energy.

Anything that I set my mind to, I can also achieve; I am so excited and grateful for that.

I always remember to say thank you.

Q: What makes you feel confident?

Being surrounded by energy and love, that really lifts me up.

I also become confident when I follow my intuition, which has led me to the right places in life.

Q: What is your superpower?

My superpower is achieving anything that I dream of doing.

I keep on going until I achieve just what I wished and hoped for.

Q: What is the best piece of advice a woman has given you?

My mother always told me that I can achieve anything I want to, I just have to believe in myself.

Carriene Rendbo

The founder of 'I Love Natural Hair'. Carriene provides expert advice, tips and products to celebrate all hair types.

'I’m a Brit, who has been living in Denmark since 2009. For years, I never really knew how to take care of my natural hair, and I didn’t have the confidence or patience to wear my hair naturally. The weaves and extensions helped me to have the style of hair that I wanted, without the stress of having to take care of my curls.'

'In September 2010, after much encouragement from a friend, and a lot of research, I took the plunge and decided to wear my hair naturally.'

'I want every curly-haired girl to feel that there is something here for them, and that they can find the support they need on their personal hair journey.'

Stella Nisreen Kanaan

The founder and CEO of the Copenhagen based spa, 'Beauty Avenue', A Spa and Brow Bar that uses all organic treatments which promote a sustainable and vegan outlook.

Q: What is your super power potential?

My super power potential is LOVE! I love people and I love life. I think people feel comfortable around me because they can sense that I do not judge them. I always find the positive sides to things. I am also super enthusiastic. I get excited about all the beauty I see around me. I believe everything is possible if we have the will. I am also very passionate about things that really matter to me and I am not afraid of doing things differently.

Q: How would you describe yourself?

I am a girl who is full of energy, fun and playful, and that loves to think of new business ideas, to travel and experience everything life has to offer. My purpose is how I can help to change the world for the better.

Q: What makes you feel confident?

Having a purpose and being prepared. Groomed brows and a hairless upper lip give the extra push.

Q: Who inspires you?

I have a big list of wonderful and inspiring people. One that I really look up to and dreaming of meeting one day is Dr. Jane Goodall. She is an animal and environmental activist and still, at an age of 84, is very active. She travels all over the world teaching about animals, our beautiful planet and the importance of compassion towards other species.

Q: What is the best piece of advice a woman has given you?

Oh God! I have been so lucky to have met many amazing women that have given me so many great advices. I think the best advice has always been to be yourself.
